Raven Davenport is a Music Supervisor and Coordinator at Format Entertainment. Born and raised in Philly, she grew up surrounded by a rich history of arts and culture. A gifted, classically trained clarinetist, she has always been fascinated by the way music enhances the art of storytelling.
After graduating from Drexel University with degrees in both Business and Entertainment studies, Raven honed her licensing skills across advertisements, film, and television with stints at Creative License and Downtown Records. These experiences allowed her to fine-tune her sync ear with invaluable licensing A&R experience.
Raven is excited to continue her journey in the industry and add to the sonic landscape Format has established. Recent projects include working on the multicultural original soundtrack for Black Panther: Wakanda Forever, featuring the Oscar nominee for Best Song, “Lift Me Up” by Rihanna. She also co-supervised Netflix’s Love in the Villa, the Italian rom-com, for which Raven was nominated for a Guild of Music Supervisors award.
She’s also worked on an array of exciting, high profile TV series made by Marvel Studios for Disney+ including She-Hulk, Ms. Marvel, Hawkeye, and Loki. She is also co-supervising the upcoming second season of I Am Groot, a group of animated shorts starring Baby Groot.
Upcoming film credits include music coordination on Marvel Studios’ Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania, Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3, and the sequel to Captain Marvel, The Marvels.
